Flat Valance

This versatile classic is particularly suitable for fabrics with large patterns, since the fabric is flat with no folds or fullness. Wider valances have seams where two or more cuts of fabric are joined together. If this occurs, the valance is made with a center panel and two side panels, for the best visual effect. Special care is taken to match patterns so that the seams interrupt the design as little as possible.

Width: 12″ to 168″

Available heights: 8″, 12″, 16″, and 20″

This treatment is appropriate for any fabric except sheers.
