DRAPERY

4 Drapery Styles For You To Choose From

GROMMET

  • Features 2″ grommets spaced approximately 4″ apart.
  • Works with rods up to 1″ inches diameter.
  • Two panels are recommended if the width is wider than 60″.
  • Not recommended for wide, 1-way draw panels where center support is required.
  • Finished height includes 1″ of fabric above the grommets.
  • Note: Your panels will extend above the drapery pole. That space will need to be considered when installing the rod height.

PINCH PLEAT

  • Pinch Pleat style has French 3 fingers and French 2 fingers options.
  • Pleats are tacked at the top, middle and bottom.
  • Standard 250% fullness for drapery and 300% fullness for sheer.
  • Two panels are recommended if the width is wider than 60″.
  • Note: Some of the thicker fabrics cannot be pinched, but we can provide assistance as needed.

BACK TAB

  • Works with rods up to 3″ inches diameter.
  • Two panels are recommended if the width is wider than 60″.
  • Not recommended for wide, 1-way draw panels where center support is required.
  • Note: This seems like a budget-friendly option because of the lack of rings and hooks, but the labor cost to create the tabs will likely cost more than the rings.

RIPPLE FOLD

  • It has a signature “S” fold.
  • No buckram is necessary for Ripplefolds. Snap tape is used instead.
  • This header style traverses the track or hardware frictionlessly, creating a floating aesthetic.
  • Clean, uniform look, appropriate for a wide range of environments from residential and commercial interiors.
  • Note: Ripplefold panels require specialty hardware.

3 Lining Colors For You To Choose From

Lining adds more fullness and body to your drapery. It also protects the fabric from the harmful effects of sunlight. it’s required on silk and linen for that reason and that will help your drapery last longer. Linings also enhance light control, privacy, insulation, and noise reduction.
